Tonight was the first night I’ve ever actually gone out to shoot a baby! I’m not exactly the most patient person in the world but I definitely have a brand new respect for all parents / child photographers out there! However, Brooklyn is just so darn adorable how could you ever begin to even think about being frustrated with her? Just look at that face!

Last sunday my friend wanted some pictures taken of him for his Mom, so we went out to a local place called the Dingle with a few other friends. It ended up being wicked lighting. And the pictures (minus these ones…) turned out to be hilarious. Haha.

I have been so busy this past weekend! I shot my first wedding, had a mini photoshoot with some friend’s last night, another baby session on tuesday, some headshots to do and then I gotta try and get to the race track to do some car shots next weekend for Scott. Put that on top of this week having only two days off my regular job (one to shoot a wedding, one to do a baby session) and all other days I work every night until 9. It’s been a crazy week! And as stressed out as I am I have to admit I’m loving every minute of it. !

During the wedding I had a little mishap! Right after the beautiful ceremony on the beach all my photos deleted themselves… that’s right. Cue me freaking out. I had no idea what happened. Luckily I had brought my laptop with me and after freaking out, calling the boyfriend and calming down I somehow managed to make them reappear. Then both cards filled up right as we were doing the bridal party photos. The only thought in my head at that point was “I’m never shooting a wedding again, I’m never doing this again… oh, my, god, kill me please”. As the day went on though, it got easier. My cameras stopped acting up and I kind of relaxed into everything. Unless I’m assisting a wedding though, I’m never agreeing to do that again haha.

Anyway, here’s a few of my favs so far. I’m really lucky to have such a gorgeous family. :

I’m officially accepted into the 2010 Photography Program!!!

As far as I understand, I can only use someone as a model once throughout the year so I’ll be looking for lots of willing people to model for me.

Want to be a model for me? All you gotta do is join my Facebook Group.

I’ll be posting my assignments up on my group and if you feel you’d be comfortable with it all you gotta do is comment on the post or shoot me a message and we’ll work the details out. The same goes for if you know any of your friends or family that you think would wanna help me out just invite them to the group.

EDIT: I should also mention that if you model for me, any pictures that surface or turn out nicely you’re more than welcome to use for yourself providing you give me some credit.
